Tyler's on campus working and I'm watching "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade." But a more productive use of my time would be to catch up on our blog. So here are some thoughts.
1. Iron Man was awesome. It was such a relief that my high expectations didn't ruin it. I don't think I would like Robert Downey, Jr. personally, but I sure do like him as an actor.
2. Mother's Day is coming up. Mom, you are the greatest. Thank you for taking care of me (still). Now that being a mother is my near future, I've had reason to contemplate everything I am taking on, and I am FREAKED OUT. But you managed it with four little ones and kept your sanity, enthusiasm, and sense of joy intact.
3. While on the subject of parenting, I'm so excited to see Tyler be a dad. He's going to so good at it. I really lucked out in the eternal companion department.
4. Where is the cord that plugs my camera into my computer? I want to post a baby bump pic.
5. I love it right after I've cleaned my house. Shiny faucets and sinks, vacuum lines and a spotless kitchen floor are very therapeutic.

Were you trying to go up to number 10? Alan said you got a raise and a promotion!!!! That's great!!!! You should be so happy! Tyler is so sweet and did a great job procrastinating his talk. We can't wait until June! Let's make it the best trip ever and take lots LOTS of pictures! I'm so excited!!!!
