1. I am pregnant.
2. Due date is July 10th.
3. Of course we will find out the gender. Probably around the end of Feb.
4. I am sick. Sick, sick, sick. Nausea is the worst thing ever and I can't believe I forgot how awful it was the last time. It dulls every pleasant sensation/emotion (a cuddle, kissing my baby's head) and amplifies every unpleasant sensation/emotion (being tired, feeling overwhelmed). In my opinion there is not enough talking about morning sickness and how awful it is. So there's my effort to set the problem right.
5. We have some names picked out in each gender but we're not telling just because we feel like being difficult. Suckers!

Congrats! I'm super excited about the baby, but so so sorry about the morning sickness. It really is horrible. And thanks for reminding me so I don't get any ideas...

ReplyDeleteI have not gotten excited about it because I am getting a divorce and will soon be a single mother of three and my soon to be ex husband is a bastard.
But that's life and I hope this new life will bring tons of new joy, just like every new baby does.
I am sorry you are so sick. Isn't it just hell? I so hope that part will be over for you soon.

ReplyDeleteI think there's a reason for the amnesia we experience after having a baby. No sane woman would go through pregnancy twice if she remembered what it was like the first time.

yes! congrats on the baby in your tummy, but not on all the other stuff that comes along. also, YOU are the sucker, b/c i am having a baby in 4 short weeks. jealous?
