Haircut

I am cheap and lazy when it comes to my hair. If a haircut costs me more than, say, $10, I'm not interested. And I don't color, layer, etc., simply because heaven forbid, it might take me some time to do.

And, the only thing I tell hairdressers when I go in to get a trim is, "I have to be able to pull the whole thing back in a ponytail."

Plus, a husband that is like, "neeeeever cut your haaaaaair....." (that's a ghost voice if you're wondering).

So I broke my mold and went crazy! By going slightly shorter than I normally do! See? Crrrazy!

Clearly struggling with a complex legal issue at work.

It's fun, but all I can think is, when can I get my ponytail back without the help of bobby pins and/or a headband?

  1. It's super cute! Get some of those snappy barrettes that you can pop into place, and pony tails are still possible. They are the reason I've ever consented to cut my hair short.

  5. I really like it, not that my opinion counts. But I hope you do like it because I do. It is fabulously cute.

  6. WTF, you failed to mention this hair change in our conversations? I have to get on your blog to see it? UNACCEPTABLE. Despite that extreme oversight of yours, it is super pretty :) I love it!

  7. Okay, so apparently I have the male version of this. My solution is to keep cutting it off, much to my better half's chagrin. After a few years she's finally convinced me (very subtley, I might add) to grow it out again.
