The Deepest of Thoughts

I've gotten into one of those traps. Monday or Wednesday or Friday rolls around and I'm like, "there is nothing I can say." And my evil (or lazy?) inner voice shoots down every idea I throw out.

Finally this morning I said two words to him. "Deep Thoughts."

And he had nothing

This one of Jack Handey's classics:

If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

My sister and I were laughing at the above (not the below) quote in the BYU bookstore years ago.

Yeah, they make greeting cards out of them!

The sweetest, nicest, sweetest little co-ed standing nearby smiled at us and asked to see what we were laughing at.

When we showed her the card there was an uncomfortable silence, followed by a dismayed sounding "that's really rude..."

Oh, BYU. No sarcasm allowed.

(No offense. BYU Law forever).

In conclusion, I leave you with another Jack Handey classic.

It makes me mad when people say I turned and ran like a scared rabbit. Maybe it was like an angry rabbit, who was going to fight in another fight, away from the first fight.
