So, you know. Boys.

I feel a little mystified by them. Honestly, I'm a little mystified by males in general and now I'm raising two of them.

I haven't even gotten to any of the tricky stuff yet. Right now they're just cuddly and cute and loud. Someday they'll be elusive and standoffish and, I imagine, far too quiet.

But the little one with the screens. He already gets how absolutely mesmerizing they are.

I mean, geez. I'M mesmerized by them. How do you teach your kids anything, really? When you're not 100% yourself? I guess, try to be in the 90s? 80s? 70s, and apologize a lot?

Ah, parenting. We don't know what the heck we're doing, do we?
