Wherein I Absolve Instagram

I've been going through pictures this morning in a desperate attempt to find inspiration for a blog post, and disturbingly I found a picture-taking pattern through my young, single years.

All of these pictures were taken well before social media

People, Instagram is not the problem. And don't even try blaming it on the patriarchy. None of them ever told us we had to take pictures with a duck face.

I think the duck face (and abstaining from the duck face) is developmental, like motor skills or thinking about multiple variables in systematic ways (thanks, WebMD).

Or maybe it's just me, which, OK. I totally take responsibility. And promise, with three to five readers as my witness, to never, EVER make this face again.
