Facebook has decided it hates me. My FB posts, about my blog posts, are not showing up in anyone's newsfeed.
It's made me super down and sad. I talk to people about it who are like, well, isn't just enough that you're writing it?
Honestly, no. I always roll my eyes when celebrities are like, "ah, yessss, it's all about the woooooorrrrk..." (Imagine a snooty British voice if it suits you).
Writing, talking, singing - they're all things that are designed to be read, listened to, watched by other people. I'm not uncomfortable admitting that I want people to read these posts.
So yes, I totally want to be famous.
Not Taylor Swift famous (although if it meant I could afford a $17 million dollar home right on the beach, then OK).
I just want to be seen and heard. Appreciated and liked. Does that make me a Kardashian?
I submit that it does not. I submit that it makes me human.
So I'm not going to get too many blog readers anymore. I can see how that's good for me. But you'd better come and read it once in a while or we are not friends.

Look how hard I'm working at writing! But not at laundry! |
