I went to Moab this weekend with my sisters and their husbands and kids. I didn't plan much of it, which is how we ended up hiking to Delicate Arch.
Now, there is no way I would have the strength of will to force my husband on children on this hike by myself. Because in Moab in 100+ degree heat? Miserable. Like one of my children sobbing full-stop as we stumbled along praying for it to end miserable.
All the water in the world couldn't take the pain away |
Normally, this beautiful arch and the hike leading to it would have delighted me. But the heat, you guys. The heeeeeeeaaaaat.
This is what heatstroke looks like |
The things I will endure for a picturesque family memory.
Worth it? I say yes. Grudgingly. |
