Nursery

I'm 32 weeks along and this is what our nursery looks like. Should I be panicked?

Isn't our baby furniture cute? Thanks, Mom and Dad Stillman! Loving it!

Pay no attention to the desk in the second picture. Our house is kind of small and we're not sure where to put it. Plus, I think it's important that our baby be able to print something if she needs to.

And where is the glider Mom and Dad Lowe bought us? Where is the cute purple bedding? Apparently still stuck in Target backorder purgatory. Target promises us these items will be shipped in July some time. Keep your fingers crossed that I don't have to open up a can of whoop-a on them, because I will most likely cry and be depressed after my outburst. I am a mess lately.

  1. I don't think you should be panicked. All you really need when the baby is born are diapers, wipes, and a carseat. Both of our daughters slept (soundly) in their carseats for their first few weeks of life. But shame on Target. They deserve a giant can dumped over their nasty little heads.

  2. Hi Deb, didn't know you guys had set up a blog. Congratulations on the upcoming birth. Our youngest is about to turn 16 months old on July 4.

Take care and know my best wishes are with you for a trouble-free birth.

  3. No you should not be panicked!! All you need are some sheets and blankets, everything else will work itself out. By the way, babies can't use printers (remember I took a child development course in college!) lahvoo!

  5. Don't worry about it, Deb. The baby can't even see more than two feet in front of her for the first little while...she's not going to care! Get off your a#$, you big important lawyer!

  6. i guess you didn't know is that newborn babies are really particular about where they sleep, if their bedding matches and also fung shway. you really have a lot to learn deb. and since you still have to get that nursery up to par, i'd say you're gonna be pretty busy for the next few weeks.
