Decades

I just turned 41, and it was awesome.

My "kids" [husband, in spite of the kids,] made me a delicious cake.

That's a "41" on there. Bravo, Tyler!

And on the actual day I was sipping a strawberry daiquiri in MEXICO, in case you missed that little bulletin.

I would characterize the decades of my life as this:

0-10: Secure, carefree.
11-20: Secure. Mixed with some insecure.
21-30: Adventurous, scary, fun, lonely.
31-40: INTENSE. Dated and married husband, graduated law school, worked as a lawyer, moved four times, HAD FOUR CHILDREN.

And what will 41-50 be? My very last baby is weaned, sleeping through the night and drinking from his own sippy cup.

THIS IS MY DECADE.
